It was a strong showing for the Lake Region State College Golf team on the final day of the regional tournament.
Sophomore Casey Julson shot a 77 on the day and finished tied for 4th overall. Head Coach Randy Fixen said, "This is the best Casey has played in two years. He was in the mix for two straight days. He had a few tough holes late but I was really proud of the way he competed."
Sophomore Jon Lund cut 8 strokes off his score from the previous day and shot a 99 putting him in 29th place. Freshman Bryce Sebelius shot a 106 and finished in 30th place. Coach Fixen said, "These two did a great job over the past two days playing a tough course they had never seen before. They both had some really good shots over the two rounds."
