Erin Jorgenson Signs Letter of Intent to Play Volleyball & Basketball for LRSC

Athletic Director and Head Women's Basketball Coach Danny Mertens and Head Women's Volleyball Coach Brigitte Greywater are happy to announce the signing of Erin Jorgenson to play Volleyball and Basketball for Lake Region State College during the 2017-2018 season.

Erin is a Senior Outside Hitter in Volleyball and a forward in basketball for the Benson County Wildcats. Erin is a two time All-Region volleyball player and her team made it to the quarterfinals of the regional tournament this past season.

Danny Mertens said about Erin, "She is a great addition to both programs. We are excited to add her competitiveness and desire to win to Royals athletics."

Brigitte Greywater said about Erin, "She is a proven leader and I am looking forward to all the great things she will bring to our program."

When asked what she is looking forward to most about Lake Region Erin replied, "What I am looking forward to most about playing at Lake Region is that I will get to play with my sister Annie and be coached by my oldest sister Meghan." She continued, "I am excited that I will be able to continue my athletic and academic career at LRSC. There is such a great tradition that I am looking forward to being a part of it."

Erin is the daughter of Steve and Geri Jorgenson and is the sister of current Royals basketball player Andrea Jorgenson and student assistant coach Meghan Jorgenson.
