Jordyn Johnson Signs with Lake Region State College Women's Hockey Team for the 2025-2026 Season
State College is excited to announce the signing of Jordyn Johnson to the 2025-2026 Women's Hockey team. The skilled forward from Regina, Saskatchewan, brings an impressive resume to the ice, having earned recognition as one of the top players in the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League (SFHL).
Jordyn Johnson, who attended Martin Hockey Academy, has spent years honing her skills both academically and athletically. As an assistant captain for the Regina Rebels, she showcased exceptional leadership and offensive talent, averaging 2.25 points per game and leading the SFHL in scoring. With her sharp hockey IQ, creative playmaking abilities, and dedication to the game, Jordyn quickly became a standout player.
"I am so excited to be joining the Lake Region State Women's Hockey team," said Johnson. "I can't wait to make so many new friends and create unforgettable memories with the team."
In addition to her success on the ice, Jordyn is also a multi-sport athlete. She enjoys playing flag football in the fall and has a passion for outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing. When she's not competing, Jordyn enjoys spending her free time at her family cabin, embracing nature and relaxation.
Head Coach Sawyer Diseth is thrilled to welcome Jordyn to the team. "Jordyn is an incredibly dynamic player with outstanding offensive ability and creativity," Diseth said. "Her ability to produce points and generate scoring opportunities is exceptional, and her energy for the game will be a tremendous asset to our program."
