Dylan Edd Commits to Lake Region State College Women’s Hockey
The Lake Region State College Royals women's hockey program is excited to announce the signing of incoming freshman Dylan Edd from Sidney, Montana. Edd joins the Royals after an impressive nine seasons of competitive hockey, most recently finishing her senior year with the Richland Rangers in the North Dakota Amateur Hockey Association (NDAHA).
In her final season, Edd averaged 0.5 points per game and helped lead the Rangers to a third-place finish in the 2024–2025 state tournament. Known for her tenacity and consistent performance, she brings a mix of speed, skill, and hockey intelligence to the Royals roster. She also received offers to play hockey at several top-notch institutions, but ultimately chose Lake Region State College as the place she wanted to continue her academic and athletic journey.
"Dylan's speed and hockey IQ are real difference-makers," said Royals head coach Sawyer Diseth. "Her quickness allows her to cut hard to the net or find open ice in the offensive zone. We saw her talent firsthand at our team camp in June, and even when we played against her in an exhibition last spring, she stood out immediately. I'm much happier having her on our team this season."
Off the ice, Edd is the youngest in her family, with two older sisters who have supported her athletic journey. She is also an avid cross-country runner and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, swimming, and kayaking. Beyond athletics, she has a passion for creating art, listening to music, and watching cooking shows.
