Lake Region State College Women’s Hockey Signs Paisley Branden
The Lake Region State College women's hockey program is proud to announce the signing of Paisley Branden, a versatile athlete from Havre, Montana, for the 2025–2026 season.
Branden brings 13 years of playing experience and a rare skillset to the Royals. Not only does she excel as a defenseman, but she has also proven herself as a reliable goaltender. This past season, she competed in an impressive 67 games, splitting time between the Montana Havre 19U girls team and the Havre boys high school team. Across those games, she recorded 19 points while making over 1,500 saves in net.
Away from the rink, Branden is a dedicated student with aspirations of becoming a criminal psychologist. She enjoys reading, coloring, and hunting in her free time, and she values spending time with her brother, her dog Bear, and her close friends back home in Havre.
Head Coach Sawyer Diseth shared his excitement about the addition:
"Paisley is a special type of player — her ability to step in as both a defenseman and a goaltender shows just how talented and committed she is to her teams. She brings not only experience, but also toughness and a relentless work ethic that will fit perfectly with our culture here at Lake Region. We are thrilled to welcome her to the Royals family and can't wait to see her make an impact at the college level."
Branden will join the Royals this fall, continuing her hockey journey while furthering her education at Lake Region State College.
